Owndate is made and sold by blackline. These are the terms for using the app and this site. They are written to be read, not skimmed past — the whole thing is short.

What you get

Owndate is free to download and use for up to five goals. Paying $9 once unlocks Premium: unlimited goals, goal dates, every accent, and cards without the blackline mark. There is no subscription and nothing renews. The key you receive is for you; it isn't for resale or for sharing publicly.

Payment

Checkout is handled by Whop. Whop takes your payment and sends your license key; we never see your card. Whop's own terms apply to the transaction itself.

Your data

Your plan lives in your browser, on your device. We can't see it, back it up, or restore it — export the JSON from Settings if you want a copy. How that works is on theprivacy page.

No promises about the maths

The dates Owndate gives you are arithmetic on the numbers you type in. They aren't financial advice and they aren't a prediction of prices, interest, or your own habits. Treat them as a plan, not a guarantee.

As is

The app is provided as is. We work to keep it correct and available, but we don't warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid for it.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version goes here with a new date. Continuing to use the app after that means you're fine with the new version.
