What we know about you.

Your financial goals, target amounts, monthly savings and deposits are stored locally on your device using IndexedDB. Planning does not require an Owndate account. Your plan is not automatically synced to our servers or another device. Clearing app or browser data can erase it, and we cannot recover it. Export a JSON backup from Settings before clearing storage or changing devices.

This website runs on Cloudflare Pages. The site stores your accent and surface preferences in your browser. When you enter or receive a key on the activation page, it also stores a pending license key in localStorage as owndate.pendingLicense for handoff to the browser app. The open-app link carries that key in its URL fragment. Browser storage does not transfer a key to a separately downloaded native app.

Payment is handled by Whop, separately from your local financial goals. Opening embedded checkout loads a third-party Whop checkout script. Whop processes the payment details and email address you provide; its privacy policy governs its checkout and payment processing. Owndate's goal planner does not collect your card details.

Premium activation requires an internet connection. The app sends your license key to Owndate's activation service, which checks it with Whop. This verifies your license, not your financial goals. The app stores the license key and activation token locally in IndexedDB. Keep your key to activate on another device or after clearing storage.

Cards you export are made on your device and saved to your device. Nothing is uploaded when you make one. If you post it, that's you posting it.
